Remix reveals were a little while ago, but now I'm finally going to share:

I wrote The Quintessential Team Q (Antiphonal Intermezzo Remix), based on kyuuketsukirui's Team Q. Eric is fourteen when the first issue of Team Q comes out. Harry Potter, mostly OCs. After the war, Dean and Seamus create a comic book about a crime-fighting queer mutant Quidditch team. I took the idea and ran with it. A repost with some of my comments about writing it will be up soon.

And, because it's nice to show off presents, this was the remix written for me: The Grass is Always Greener (the Known Temptation Remix) by beatrice_otter (who, ironically, I remixed last year), based on my Ignoti Nulla Cupido. No reality is perfect. No matter what it may look like on the outside. Stargate SG-1, ensemble. In the original, Daniel goes through the Quantum Mirror and finds a "perfect" reality, but still feels like something's missing (Jack/Daniel pre-slash). In the remix, the writer took each of the various characters in the AU and flipped over the rocks, as it were, to show how imperfect everything was (faint hints of Sam/Jack UST). I was really excited when I saw that this was the fic that had been remixed (I peeked, but I didn't inhale read it before the archive opened), but I wasn't exactly pleased with the way it had been written. I liked the idea, the execution not so much. I'm tempted to remix my own fic, because when I saw it was the one that had been picked, I started contemplating the ways that I would have remixed it...and was sad when this fic didn't live up to that.

(Am I too attached to my fic? I didn't like the remix last year, either...)

I'm sure I'll babble again later. This is going to be a spammy day.

You are too attached to your fic, but I love you anyway. ;)

I'm looking forward to your comments on Team Q. *snickers*
